Applicants for this course must demonstrate English proficiency by either scoring 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or 20 in any other English in Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) English Units 3 and 4, obtaining an overall IELTS score of 6.0 with no individual band below 6.0, or presenting alternative evidence as outlined in the guidelines.
The requirements vary based on the applicant's educational background:Senior Certificate of Education (Year 12): Minimum study score of 25 in English EAL or 20 in English (other than EAL) in Units 3 and 4. Minimum study score of 20 in either Maths: Mathematical Methods, Maths: Specialist Mathematics, or Maths: General Mathematics in Units 3 and 4. Unadjusted ATAR of at least 50 or equivalent.
Completion of at least two bachelor-level or above units (AQF Level 7 or equivalent). Evidence of mathematical ability equivalent to the Year 12 maths prerequisite.
Completion of a certificate IV or higher in a related discipline. Completion of a diploma or higher in any discipline. At least 50% completion of a diploma or higher in a related discipline. Evidence of mathematical ability equivalent to the Year 12 maths prerequisite.
Consideration for those who finished Year 12 more than three years ago, did not finish Year 12, and haven't undertaken further study. Submission of a personal statement outlining motivation, education, employment history, and how the course aligns with career aspirations.
