Unlock the secrets to a fulfilling career at the forefront of the digital revolution with the Bachelor of Computer Science. Emphasizing software development, the program is instructed by top-notch experts in the field. Students benefit from learning in industry-standard labs and can tailor their studies with majors in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Games Development, Software Development, or Internet of Things.
Prospective students can gain admission to the Bachelor of Computer Science program through successful completion of the Victorian Certificate of Education or equivalent international qualifications. Alternatively, completion of approved tertiary qualifications is accepted. Meeting the ATAR Guaranteed Entry Score guarantees a place, with possible adjustments for lower ATARs based on various factors. Detailed entry requirements are available in the course handbook.
To qualify for the Bachelor of Computer Science, applicants need a minimum study score of 25 in any non-EAL English (or 30 in English as Alternate Language) for VCE Units 3 and 4. For VCE Units 1 and 2, satisfactory completion in two units of any Mathematics or equivalent is necessary. If lacking the required mathematics prerequisites, completion of Swinburne’s MathsLink Further Mathematics bridging program is mandatory. These criteria ensure a fundamental grasp of English and mathematics, essential for success in the program.
