The Systems Development/Analyst major is part of Information Systems, essential for organizational operations. IS professionals integrate hardware and software to manage information efficiently, aiding decision-making and innovation. They analyze business issues, offer computing solutions, and possess database expertise. Illinois State’s IS program is ABET-accredited, focusing on applying computer technology and information management to address business challenges, fostering students’ analytical and problem-solving skills.
Non-native English speakers applying to Illinois State University must provide recent TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test scores.
