Applicants for this course must demonstrate English proficiency by either scoring 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or 20 in any other English in Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) English Units 3 and 4, obtaining an overall IELTS score of 6.0 with no individual band below 6.0, or presenting alternative evidence as outlined in the guidelines.
For Year 12 students or those within the past two years, a minimum study score of 25 in English EAL (English as an Additional Language) or 20 in English for Units 3 and 4. A Senior Secondary Certificate of Education with an unadjusted ATAR of at least 50 or equivalent.
Individuals with higher education experience must have successfully completed at least two bachelor-level or above units (AQF Level 7 or equivalent).
Completion of a certificate IV or higher in a related discipline, a diploma or higher in any discipline, or at least 50% completion of a diploma or higher in a related discipline for those with VET qualifications.
Consideration for those who finished Year 12 over three years ago or did not complete Year 12, based on work, volunteer, and/or life experience. Submission of a personal statement detailing motivation, education, employment history, and how the course aligns with career aspirations is required. Similar to a job application cover letter, it should emphasize relevance and commitment to the chosen course or study area.
