Griffith University’s Bachelor of Software Engineering (Honours) program equips students with the skills needed to design and implement software systems across various sectors. The curriculum covers essential topics like computer algorithms, programming, business analysis, and project management. With a focus on practical learning and industry engagement, students gain valuable teamwork and quality management skills. In the final year, students undertake group projects and engineering research, collaborating with industry partners to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts.
International undergraduate applicants must meet specific academic entry requirements, which vary by country. Additionally, the program has progression requirements that students must adhere to, and it's essential for them to consult with their School for guidance on meeting these requirements effectively.
English language requirements are mandatory for international applicants and those whose previous education was not conducted in English. The minimum requirements include an overall IELTS band score of 6.5 with no sub-score below 6.0, or equivalent scores on other recognized tests such as TOEFL, ISLPR, Cambridge English exams (C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency), or Pearson Test of English. Test results must be no older than two years. International students who complete the Direct Entry Program (DEP) will fulfill the English language requirements for Griffith degrees.
