The Computer Programming Undergraduate Diploma equips students with the skills needed for success in web development, software, and mobile app creation. The program offers a unique blend of business, multimedia, and software development courses, along with extensive hands-on lab work and opportunities for community-sponsored projects and applied research. Graduates can either enter the workforce or continue their studies in the Computer Programming and Analysis (Co-op) program.
Applicants must submit secondary education transcripts and a graduation diploma* (High School) with a passing grade in Mathematics at Grade 11 or 12 level, or an equivalent qualification. Proof of English proficiency is also required. (*Note: Country-specific requirements may vary; some may only require transcripts.)
Additional testing or evaluation may be required for selection.
Students at Niagara College – Toronto (NCT) are recommended to have a laptop or desktop with a Microsoft Windows operating system (PC). The Computer Programming program relies on PC-based software that may not be compatible with Mac systems. The minimum recommended computer specifications are an i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, and a 17-inch screen (21.5-inch recommended). While NCT provides access to computer labs, availability and software access are not guaranteed.
