Conestoga’s “Information Technology Business Analysis” program equips students with essential skills for success in the digital economy. This course emphasizes the evolving role of Business Analysts, focusing on articulating needs, recommending solutions, and driving organizational change. The curriculum covers writing detailed system requirements, testing, and user acceptance coordination, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making. Students gain a comprehensive skill set in data modeling, emerging technologies, project management, and change and risk management.
All students entering this program must: have a laptop computer that meets minimum specified requirements own and maintain their laptop bring their laptop on the first day of classes.
Two- or three-year diploma or degree in specified fields. OR Minimum 3 years of related industry/professional experience with a two- or three-year diploma or degree outside the specified areas.
Applicants with degrees/diplomas from non-English institutions need to provide English proficiency scores (e.g., TOEFL iBT 88, IELTS 6.5, CAEL 70, PTE Academic 58, CELT Band 6, Cambridge Exams 180). For students below English admission standards, we provide a language program. Admission to the degree program follows completion of ELS level 4 with an 80% average and no grade below 75%, based on in-house tests or TOEFL/IELTS scores.
