The entry requirements for the Master of Cyber Security vary based on the duration of the program: 1-year program (80CP): A recognized Bachelor degree (or higher) in a related discipline with a minimum grade point average of 4.0 using a 7.0 scale. A minimum of three years full-time equivalent relevant work experience. 1.5-year program (120CP): A related Bachelor degree (or higher) from a recognized tertiary institution with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 scale), OR A Griffith Graduate Certificate in Information Technology (or equivalent) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale). 2-year program (160CP): A recognized Bachelor degree (or higher) in any discipline with a minimum grade point average of 4.0 using a 7.0 scale; OR A combination of alternative admission criteria such as formal, informal, and non-formal learning deemed to be equivalent to one of the above.
International applicants and those with non-English study backgrounds must meet these standards: IELTS: Overall 6.5, no sub-score < 6.0. TOEFL: 575 (or iBT 79, no sub-score < 19). ISLPR: 3+ in each skill. C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency: Overall 176, no score < 169. Pearson Test: Overall 58, no score < 50. Results within the last two years.
