The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Data Science meets the growing demand for skilled professionals in data science. Non-native English-speaking applicants without an English-language university degree must meet language proficiency standards. This involves achieving a TOEFL score of 587 (TWE 5.0), a minimum score of 94 in TOEFL (with no section below 20), or an IELTS score of 7.0 (with no band below 6.5). Alternatively, completing TRU ENGL 1100 and CMNS 1290 with a minimum B grade is acceptable.
The admission requirements for the program include a three-year or four-year undergraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum B average (GPA of 3.00 on a scale of 4.33 or local equivalent) in the last 60 credits. Additionally, applicants must submit official academic transcripts from all prior post-secondary institutions attended, sent directly to Thompson Rivers University from the respective institutions.
