About this program

Co-Op - Cooperative Education
Co-op seamlessly integrates paid work experience with academic learning. Many Canadian institutions offer about half of the course duration in Co-op mode, enabling students to work full-time during Co-op and part-time during classes.
PGWP - Post-Graduation Work Permit
PGWP is a key component of post-study rights in Canada, offering graduates up to three years of full work rights. This includes benefits for both the graduate and their partner, along with educational advantages for children.
Intern/Job-Placement
The institution has a specialized department for internships and professional placement, providing crucial support for students by connecting them to opportunities that propel their careers.

The Applied Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning program, optionally offering co-op, meets industry demands for skilled software developers in machine learning applications. Focused on artificial intelligence algorithms and computer science, the curriculum teaches the design of technology stacks for advanced data acquisition and analysis. Real-world projects, guided by Conestoga’s experienced faculty, enhance software development skills. The program serves as a foundation for addressing emerging industry challenges and creating automated workflows, business intelligence applications, and smart manufacturing initiatives.

Optional Co-op: Admission depends on achieving an 80% average in Level 1, and co-op seats vary based on labor market conditions. International students need work permits, facing longer wait times. No co-op fee refunds after withdrawal. Remaining in co-op without a permit is at the student’s risk. For work permit concerns, early discussion with a co-op advisor is
