Entry requirements for University

Qualifications

To qualify for admission, applicants must have completed VCE or an equivalent Year 12 qualification. Alternatively, completion of an approved tertiary qualification is accepted. Course prerequisites

Applicants to the course need a minimum study score of 25 in non-EAL English (or 30 in English as Alternate Language) for VCE Units 3 and 4, and satisfactory completion of two units of any Mathematics (or equivalent) for VCE Units 1 and 2. For those lacking the required math prerequisites, completion of Swinburne’s MathsLink Further Mathematics bridging program is mandatory.
