For prospective students, the criteria vary based on their educational background: Senior Certificate of Education: For Year 12 students or those completing it in the last two years, meeting criteria including a study score of at least 25 in English EAL or 20 in English other than EAL is required.
Applicants with prior higher education studies need successful completion of at least two bachelor-level units (AQF Level 7 or equivalent).
Those with Vocational Education and Training (VET) study after secondary school must meet criteria such as completion of a certificate IV or higher in a related discipline.
Individuals who completed Year 12 more than three years ago or did not finish it can be considered based on work, volunteer, or life experience. A personal statement outlining motivation, education, and employment history is required for evaluation.
Applicants for this course must demonstrate English proficiency by either scoring 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or 20 in any other English in Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) English Units 3 and 4, obtaining an overall IELTS score of 6.0 with no individual band below 6.0, or presenting alternative evidence as outlined in the guidelines.
