The Computer Applications Development program is a two-term, full-time course for college or university graduates interested in software development or analysis careers. It covers web, mobile, and database application development, as well as systems analysis and design. Taught by industry experts, the program emphasizes programming skills and designing IT solutions for business and consumer applications. Students can opt for a co-op stream, featuring one co-op work term.

Candidates need a three-year advanced diploma, a degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent business experience. A minimum overall average grade of B (assessed to Ontario standards, by country) is required in the mentioned academic programs. Applicants falling short of post-secondary education requirements but with 3 to 5 years of professional or management experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. These candidates should provide references, a portfolio of their work, and undergo an interview process.
Domestic applicants with transcripts from non-Canadian educational institutions must undergo a credential evaluation for equivalency through an approved provider. A Comprehensive or Course-by-Course Report is necessary for applicants to this program.
Applicants with non-English transcripts must meet proficiency through specific tests such as TOEFL iBT 88, IELTS 6.5 (no bands below 6.0), CAEL 70 (no sub-test below 60), PTE Academic 58, or Conestoga English Language Test (CELT) Band 6. A language program is available for those below standard English requirements but meeting other criteria. Post-graduate admission is granted after completing level 4 in the General Arts and Science - English Language Studies (ELS) program with an 80% average and no grade below 75%. Placement in ELS is determined by in-house English, TOEFL, or IELTS scores.
