This Ontario College Certificate program spans two semesters, equipping students with essential knowledge and skills for configuring and troubleshooting end-user computers, server operating systems, infrastructure services, and networks. Focused on enhancing practical skills in an IT support role within a business environment, the program addresses the growing need for information technology resources, fostering increased workplace productivity.
All students entering this program must: have a laptop computer that meets minimum specified requirements own and maintain their laptop bring their laptop on the first day of classes.
Admission requirements include the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or mature participant status at 19 years or older. For Grade 12, a minimum grade of C or U in compulsory English or its equivalent is required, along with Grade 11 Mathematics or its equivalent. Alternatively, applicants can fulfill the mathematics requirement through Conestoga College Preparatory Mathematics (MATH1375).
