Entry requirements for University

University entrance requerements

For Monash University admission, meeting minimum entry requirements is crucial but doesn't guarantee acceptance due to competition. Courses may have extra prerequisites. Applicants must fulfill English language requirements, hold Australian or overseas qualifications (assessed case by case), and provide scored or graded results. Certified translations are preferred for non-English qualifications. Uncertain applicants can still apply, and results will be assessed for eligibility.

English Entry Requirements

English entry requirements for Level A include an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 overall, with minimum band scores of 6.0. Alternatively, a Pearson Test of English (Academic) score of 58 is accepted, or a TOEFL Internet-based test score of 79 overall. Minimum section scores for TOEFL include 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing.

Minimum Entry Requirements (International students)

International students applying for the Master of Cybersecurity program need either an Australian bachelor's degree or its equivalent. For Entry level 1, any bachelor's degree with a minimum 60% average is accepted, and the program takes 2 years full-time or 4 years part-time. Entry level 2, with a shorter duration of 1.5 years full-time or 3 years part-time, requires a bachelor's degree in a related field with completed studies in specified areas and a minimum 60% average.
