The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence program equips students with focused education and research to develop careers in emerging AI technologies. Graduates gain technical knowledge and research skills for applying AI in various sectors, including retail, healthcare, and intelligent human-machine interactions.
International students applying to the program are required to demonstrate English language proficiency, with exceptions noted. Accepted proof includes a minimum TOEFL PBT score of 525 or a minimum TOEFL IBT score of 71. Alternatively, a minimum MELAB score of 74, a minimum IELTS score of 6.0, a minimum PTE score of 50, or a minimum Duolingo English Test score of 100 is also accepted.
Starting from spring 2024 admission, applicants need high-level algebra, geometry, and calculus proficiency equivalent to MATH 12002, MATH 12003, MATH 21001. The application must include official transcripts, GRE scores, résumé, goal statement, and three recommendation letters (two required from spring 2024).
Admission requirements include a bachelor's degree in artificial intelligence, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution (Note: This requirement is no longer necessary starting from spring 2024 admission). Additionally, a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.
